1. Vehicle Lift

1.

Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.
2. Front Wheel

1.

Remove the front wheel.
3. Front Inner Fender

1.

Remove the front inner fender (A).

4. Front Door Sill Trim - 4-Door

1.

Remove the cap (A) from the front door sill trim (B).

2.

Remove the opener lock cylinder (C).

3.

Remove the screw (A).

4.

Remove the front door sill trim (A).
5. Kick Panel

1.

Pull out the front door opening seal (A) as needed.

2.

Remove the kick panel (B).
6. Hood Latch

1.

Remove the hood latch (A).

2.

Disconnect the hood opener cable (B).
7. Hood Opener Cable

1.

Detach the clips securing the hood opener cable (A).

2.

Remove the hood release handle (A).

3.

Remove the grommet (B), then remove the hood opener cable (C).

1. Hood Opener Cable

1.

Install the hood release handle (A) and the grommet (B).

2.

Install the clips (A) securing the hood opener cable (B).

NOTE: Align the marks (C) with the clips as shown.
2. Hood Latch

NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the hood latch as indicated by the arrows.

1.

Connect the hood opener cable (A).

2.

Install the hood latch (B).
3. Hood Latch - Adjustment

1.

Slightly loosen the hood latch mounting bolts (A).

2.

Adjust the hood latch (B) to obtain the proper height at the forward edge, and move the hood latch right or left until the striker (C) is centered in the hood latch.

3.

Tighten the hood latch mounting bolts to the specified torque.

4.

Make sure the hood opens properly and locks securely.

5.

Apply multipurpose grease to the hood latch as indicated by the arrows.
4. Kick Panel

1.

Install the kick panel (A).

2.

Install the front door opening seal (B).
5. Front Door Sill Trim - 4-Door

1.

Install the front door sill trim (A).

2.

Install the screw (A).

3.

Install the opener lock cylinder (A).

4.

Install the cap (B) to the front door sill trim (C).
6. Front Inner Fender

1.

Install the front inner fender (A).

7. Front Wheel

1.

Install the front wheel.

NOTE: Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces between the brake disc and the inside of the wheel.
