Removal

For some models: Remove the trunk lid trim panel (A).
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Pull out the rear license trim (A) to release the clip
pins (B) from the clip grommets (C) on the trunk lid.
|
|
NOTE: The clip grommets will stay on the trunk lid.
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Remove the clip grommets (A) from the trunk lid.
|
|
4.
|
Install the clip grommets into the clip pins on the rear
license trim.
|
|
NOTE: If the clip pins and the clip grommets are damaged
or stress-whitened, replace them as an assembly with new
ones.

|
1.
|
Disconnect the cylinder rod (A).
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Remove the bolt (A) securing the trunk lid lock cylinder
(B).
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Remove the bolt (A) securing the trunk lid lock cylinder
(B).
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Remove the trunk lid lock cylinder (A).
|

Installation

Install the trunk lid lock cylinder (A).
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Install the bolt (A) securing the trunk lid lock cylinder
(B).

|
Install the bolt (A) securing the trunk lid lock cylinder
(B).
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Connect the cylinder rod (A).
|
|
|
|
|
1.
|
Hold up the rear license trim (A), and fit the clips
into the holes in the trunk lid.
|
|
2.
|
Push on the trim until the clips snap into place securely.
|
|
|
|
|
1.
|
For some models: Install the trunk lid trim panel (A).
