Front Fog Light - Adjustment |

Before adjusting the front fog light:
|
|

|
Park the vehicle on a level surface.
|
|
|

|
Make sure the tire pressures are correct
|
|
|

|
The driver or someone who weights the same should
sit in the driver's seat (or an equivalent amount
of weight).
|
|
|

|
Unload the vehicle.
|
|
|
The front fog lights should aim down slightly. To check
for proper adjustment:
|
|
1.
|
Park the vehicle in front of a wall or a screen (A).
|
|
2.
|
Turn the front fog lights on.
|
|
3.
|
Determine if the front fog lights are aimed properly:
|
|

|
Measure the height of the front fog lights
(B).
|
|
|

|
On the screen or wall, mark the height
of the front fog lights with a piece of
tape (C).
|
|
|

|
With the vehicle parked 3 m (9.8 ft)
from the screen, the top of the front fog
light beam should be 4.5 cm (1.77 in) (D)
below the tape mark.
