Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate is installed in the location shown. The VIN serves as the primary identification number for your Nissan Kicks and is used for registration, insurance documentation, ownership records, and service-related identification.
Vehicle identification number (chassis number)
The chassis identification number is located in the position illustrated and provides an additional means of identifying the vehicle when required for registration or service purposes.
Engine serial number
The engine serial number is stamped directly onto the engine assembly in the location shown. This number may be required when ordering certain parts or verifying engine-related information.
F.M.V.S.S./C.M.V.S.S. certification label
The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (F.M.V.S.S.) and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (C.M.V.S.S.) certification label is attached in the location shown. This label contains important vehicle information, including Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR), manufacturing date, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and other regulatory data. The emission control information label is located on the underside of the hood as shown. This label contains emissions-related specifications and regulatory information applicable to the Nissan Kicks.
Tire and Loading Information label
Recommended cold tire inflation pressures are listed on the Tire and Loading Information label. The label also contains valuable information regarding vehicle loading limits and tire specifications and is positioned in the location illustrated.
Air conditioner specification label
The air conditioner specification label is attached beneath the hood and provides important information regarding the refrigerant and lubricant specifications required for proper air conditioning system service.

The symbols shown on the air conditioner specification label provide technicians with quick reference information regarding refrigerant type, servicing requirements, and system specifications.
Installing front license plate
1. To install the front license plate bracket: Two alignment marks are provided on the fascia to indicate the proper location for mounting screws. These reference marks help ensure correct bracket positioning and proper alignment.
2. Locate alignment gap A within the radiator grille and position license plate bracket B against the fascia. The bracket is designed to align with both the grille opening and the mounting reference marks identified in Step 1.
3. Secure the front license plate bracket to the fascia using two 6 mm screws C. Confirm that the bracket is properly aligned and firmly attached before installing the license plate.
NOTE:
Mounting screws are not supplied with the vehicle and must be obtained separately before installation.
