WARNING
- The air conditioner cooling function in the Nissan Kicks operates only when the engine is running. If the engine is not operating, the system will not provide active cooling.
- Do not leave children, adults who normally require assistance, or pets alone inside the vehicle.
They could accidentally operate vehicle controls and injure themselves or others.
On hot or sunny days, the temperature inside a closed Nissan Kicks can rise very quickly, creating a serious or potentially fatal risk for people and animals.
- Do not use recirculation mode for long periods. Continuous recirculation may make the interior air stale and can cause the windows to fog, reducing driver visibility.
NOTE:
- Odors from inside and outside the Nissan Kicks can collect in the air conditioner unit and may enter the passenger compartment through the vents.
- When parking, set the heater and air conditioner controls so air recirculation is turned off. Allowing fresh air into the passenger compartment can help reduce odor buildup inside the vehicle.

if the outside temperature is above 36ºF (2ºC). This dries the air and helps defog the windshield. The
recirculation mode automatically turns off, allowing outside air to enter the Nissan Kicks cabin for better
defogging. Recirculation mode cannot be activated in the
position.
Bi-level heating
Bi-level heating directs warmed air to the side and center vents, as well as to the front and rear floor outlets. This setting helps warm the Nissan Kicks cabin evenly while still providing airflow toward the upper body area.
1. Press the
button to the off position.
2. Turn the air flow control dial to the
position.
3. Turn the
fan speed control dial to the desired
position.
