WARNING

  • The air conditioner cooling function in the Nissan Kicks operates only when the engine is running. If the engine is not operating, the system will not provide active cooling.
  • Do not leave children, adults who normally require assistance, or pets alone inside the vehicle.

They could accidentally operate vehicle controls and injure themselves or others.

On hot or sunny days, the temperature inside a closed Nissan Kicks can rise very quickly, creating a serious or potentially fatal risk for people and animals.

  • Do not use recirculation mode for long periods. Continuous recirculation may make the interior air stale and can cause the windows to fog, reducing driver visibility.

NOTE:

  • Odors from inside and outside the Nissan Kicks can collect in the air conditioner unit and may enter the passenger compartment through the vents.
  • When parking, set the heater and air conditioner controls so air recirculation is turned off. Allowing fresh air into the passenger compartment can help reduce odor buildup inside the vehicle.
