WARNING

  • The air conditioner cooling function in the Nissan Kicks operates only while the engine is running. If the engine is off, the system can move air through the vents, but it will not provide active cooling.
  • Do not leave children, adults who normally require assistance, or pets unattended inside the vehicle.

They may accidentally operate vehicle controls and injure themselves or others.

On hot or sunny days, the temperature inside a closed Nissan Kicks can rise quickly enough to cause severe or fatal injuries to people and animals.

  • Do not use recirculation mode for long periods. Extended use may make the cabin air stale and can cause the windows to fog, reducing visibility.

NOTE:

  • Odors from inside or outside the Nissan Kicks can collect in the air conditioning unit and may enter the passenger compartment through the vents.
  • When parking, switch the heater and air conditioner controls from recirculation to fresh air intake before turning the vehicle off. Allowing outside air to enter the cabin can help reduce odor buildup inside the vehicle.
