WARNING
Do not use the Nissan Kicks seat heater, and do not allow passengers to use it, if they are unable to monitor seat temperature changes or cannot properly feel heat or pain in areas of the body that come into contact with the seat. Improper use of the heated seat system could result in burns or other serious injuries.
CAUTION
- The vehicle battery may discharge if the heated seats are operated while the Nissan Kicks engine is not running.
- Avoid using the seat heater for extended periods when the seat is unoccupied.
- Do not place blankets, cushions, seat covers, or other insulating materials on the heated seat. Such items can trap heat and cause the seat surface to become excessively hot.
- Do not place heavy objects on the seat or puncture the upholstery with pins, needles, or other sharp objects. Doing so may damage the seat heater elements.
- If liquid is spilled on a heated seat, remove it immediately using a clean, dry cloth.
- When cleaning the seats, never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, or similar solvents, as these products may damage seat materials and components.
- If the heated seat system does not operate correctly or any malfunction is noticed, switch the system off and have it inspected. It is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for service.
The front seats of the Nissan Kicks are equipped with integrated heating elements designed to improve comfort during cold weather conditions.
1. Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
2. Press the heated seat switch once to select the high heat setting (two indicators illuminated). Press the switch again to select the low heat setting (one indicator illuminated).
The system is regulated by a thermostat that automatically cycles the heater on and off to maintain a comfortable seat temperature. The indicator light(s) remain illuminated while the selected heating mode is active.
3. Press the switch again to turn the heated seat system off completely (no indicators illuminated).
4. Once the seat reaches a comfortable temperature, or before leaving the Nissan Kicks, switch the heated seat system off.
For maximum comfort and efficiency, use the heated seat feature only as needed and avoid prolonged operation after the cabin has warmed up.
Heated steering wheel switch
The Nissan Kicks heated steering wheel system is designed to operate only when the steering wheel surface temperature is below approximately 68°F (20°C).
After starting the engine, press the heated steering wheel switch to warm the steering wheel. When activated, the indicator light illuminates.
If the steering wheel surface temperature is below 68°F (20°C), the system will heat the wheel and automatically cycle on and off as necessary to maintain a comfortable temperature above that level.
Regardless of ambient temperature or operating conditions, the steering wheel heating system automatically switches off after approximately 30 minutes. The indicator light remains illuminated while the system is active.
Press the switch again to manually turn off the heated steering wheel feature. The indicator light will go out, confirming that the system has been deactivated.
The heated steering wheel is especially useful during winter driving, helping Nissan Kicks drivers maintain comfort without wearing bulky gloves.
